Traveling for Work: Hong Kong

Hong Kong is an exciting, vibrant city. It has an incredible urban feel that contrasts with the surrounding jungle, jagged mountains and the harbor.

Catherine Okereke, Fashion BloggerI’ve mentioned before it’s one of my favorite places to visit and cities for work – the business culture is at the same time classic and elegant yet edgy and hip.

I love these reminders of which way to look on the streets of Hong Kong. Particularly useful for me coming from the States as they use the British system here and drive on the other side of the road than what I’m used to.

Catherine Okereke, Fashion BloggerGeographically, Hong Kong’s latitude is south of Florida, so it’s quite humid and hot right now (it’ll be even more so in just a few weeks!). I love the thick weight of the hot air (for short visits), but I always have a jacket with me since the buildings are quite air-conditioned and cold. I’ve worn Diane von Furstenberg dresses on the blog many times – it’s such a great, versatile piece. The last time I wore this particular dress was in New York for fashion week in February’s sub-zero degree temps with Jenny.

Where is your favorite city to travel for work – or vacation? What do you like about it?
